System Unit
What is a System Unit?
- A system unit is the part of a computer that houses the primary devices that perform operations and produce results for complex calculations.
- Includes the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and other components.
1. Motherboard
- The main circuit board of micro computer.
- Also known as the main board or system board.
2. CPU
- The central electronic chip that determines the processing power of the computer.
3. Memory
- Temporarily store application, documents and system operating information.
4. Random Access Memory (RAM)
- Store data and instruction that are used by the CPU to perform some tasks.
Today's class activity, my group and I had the chance to explore an example of a system unit ourselves;
✨Overall, it was a great experience as we all got to see what was inside a system unit and see how it actually looks like with our very own eyes. With that, we also got to learn more components within the system unit.✨
